Sura 9 At-Tawbah (The Repentance), ayah 6
-
وَإِنْ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ اسْتَجَارَكَ فَأَجِرْهُ حَتَّىٰ يَسْمَعَ كَلَامَ اللَّهِ ثُمَّ أَبْلِغْهُ مَأْمَنَهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ قَوْمٌ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Translation by words
- وَإِنْ
- And if
- أَحَدٌ
- anyone
- مِّنَ
- of
- ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ
- the polytheists
- ٱسْتَجَارَكَ
- seek your protection
- فَأَجِرْهُ
- then grant him protection
- حَتَّىٰ
- until
- يَسْمَعَ
- he hears
- كَلَٰمَ
- (the) Words of Allah.
- ٱللَّهِ
- (the) Words of Allah.
- ثُمَّ
- Then
- أَبْلِغْهُ
- escort him
- مَأْمَنَهُۥ
- (to) his place of safety.
- ذَٰلِكَ
- That
- بِأَنَّهُمْ
- (is) because they
- قَوْمٌ
- (are) a people
- لَّا
- (who) do not know.
- يَعْلَمُونَ
- (who) do not know.
And if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah. Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.
9:6
