Sura 9 At-Tawbah (The Repentance), ayah 73

1. يَا أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ جَاهِدِ الْكُفَّارَ وَالْمُنَافِقِينَ وَاغْلُظْ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَمَأْوَاهُمْ جَهَنَّمُ ۖ وَبِئْسَ الْمَصِيرُ

   Translation by words

   يَٰٓأَيُّهَا

   O Prophet!

   ٱلنَّبِىُّ

   O Prophet!

   جَٰهِدِ

   Strive (against)

   ٱلْكُفَّارَ

   the disbelievers

   وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ

   and the hypocrites

   وَٱغْلُظْ

   and be stern

   عَلَيْهِمْ

   with them.

   وَمَأْوَىٰهُمْ

   And their abode

   جَهَنَّمُ

   (is) Hell,

   وَبِئْسَ

   and wretched

   ٱلْمَصِيرُ

   (is) the destination.

   O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them. And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination.

   9:73
