Sura 9 At-Tawbah (The Repentance), ayah 97
-
الْأَعْرَابُ أَشَدُّ كُفْرًا وَنِفَاقًا وَأَجْدَرُ أَلَّا يَعْلَمُوا حُدُودَ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِ ۗ وَاللَّهُ عَلِيمٌ حَكِيمٌ
Translation by words
- ٱلْأَعْرَابُ
- The bedouins
- أَشَدُّ
- (are) stronger
- كُفْرًا
- (in) disbelief
- وَنِفَاقًا
- and hypocrisy,
- وَأَجْدَرُ
- and more likely
- أَلَّا
- that not
- يَعْلَمُوا۟
- they know
- حُدُودَ
- (the) limits
- مَآ
- (of) what
- أَنزَلَ
- Allah (has) revealed
- ٱللَّهُ
- Allah (has) revealed
- عَلَىٰ
- to
- رَسُولِهِۦ
- His Messenger.
- وَٱللَّهُ
- And Allah
- عَلِيمٌ
- (is) All-Knower,
- حَكِيمٌ
- All-Wise.
The bedouins are stronger in disbelief and hypocrisy and more likely not to know the limits of what (laws) Allah has revealed to His Messenger. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
