Sura 9 At-Tawbah (The Repentance), ayah 99

  1. وَمِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ مَنْ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَيَتَّخِذُ مَا يُنْفِقُ قُرُبَاتٍ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَصَلَوَاتِ الرَّسُولِ ۚ أَلَا إِنَّهَا قُرْبَةٌ لَهُمْ ۚ سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ اللَّهُ فِي رَحْمَتِهِ ۗ إِنَّ اللَّهَ غَفُورٌ رَحِيمٌ

    Translation by words

    وَمِنَ
    But among
    ٱلْأَعْرَابِ
    the bedouins
    مَن
    (is he) who,
    يُؤْمِنُ
    believes
    بِٱللَّهِ
    in Allah
    وَٱلْيَوْمِ
    and the Day
    ٱلْءَاخِرِ
    the Last,
    وَيَتَّخِذُ
    and takes
    مَا
    what
    يُنفِقُ
    he spends
    قُرُبَٰتٍ
    (as) means of nearness
    عِندَ
    with
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah
    وَصَلَوَٰتِ
    and blessings
    ٱلرَّسُولِ
    (of) the Messenger.
    أَلَآ
    Behold!
    إِنَّهَا
    Indeed, it
    قُرْبَةٌ
    (is) a means of nearness
    لَّهُمْ
    for them.
    سَيُدْخِلُهُمُ
    Allah will admit them
    ٱللَّهُ
    Allah will admit them
    فِى
    to
    رَحْمَتِهِۦٓ
    His Mercy.
    إِنَّ
    Indeed,
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    غَفُورٌ
    (is) Oft-Forgiving,
    رَّحِيمٌ
    Most Merciful.

    But among the bedouins are some who believe in Allah and the Last Day and consider what they spend as means of nearness to Allah and of (obtaining) invocations of the Messenger. Unquestionably, it is a means of nearness for them. Allah will admit them to His mercy. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
