Sura 10 Yunus (Jonas), ayah 36
-
وَمَا يَتَّبِعُ أَكْثَرُهُمْ إِلَّا ظَنًّا ۚ إِنَّ الظَّنَّ لَا يُغْنِي مِنَ الْحَقِّ شَيْئًا ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ بِمَا يَفْعَلُونَ
Translation by words
- وَمَا
- And not
- يَتَّبِعُ
- follow
- أَكْثَرُهُمْ
- most of them
- إِلَّا
- except
- ظَنًّا
- assumption.
- إِنَّ
- Indeed,
- ٱلظَّنَّ
- the assumption
- لَا
- (does) not
- يُغْنِى
- avail
- مِنَ
- against
- ٱلْحَقِّ
- the truth
- شَيْـًٔا
- anything.
- إِنَّ
- Indeed,
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah
- عَلِيمٌۢ
- (is) All-Knower
- بِمَا
- of what
- يَفْعَلُونَ
- they do.
And most of them follow not except assumption. Indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of what they do.
