Sura 11 Hud, ayah 60

1. وَأُتْبِعُوا فِي هَٰذِهِ الدُّنْيَا لَعْنَةً وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّ عَادًا كَفَرُوا رَبَّهُمْ ۗ أَلَا بُعْدًا لِعَادٍ قَوْمِ هُودٍ

   Translation by words

   وَأُتْبِعُوا۟

   And they were followed

   فِى

   in

   هَٰذِهِ

   this

   ٱلدُّنْيَا

   world

   لَعْنَةً

   (with) a curse

   وَيَوْمَ

   and (on the) Day

   ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ

   (of) the Resurrection.

   أَلَآ

   No doubt!

   إِنَّ

   Indeed,

   عَادًا

   Aad

   كَفَرُوا۟

   disbelieved

   رَبَّهُمْ

   their Lord,

   أَلَا

   So

   بُعْدًا

   away

   لِّعَادٍ

   with Aad,

   قَوْمِ

   (the) people

   هُودٍ

   (of) Hud.

   And they were (therefore) followed in this world with a curse and (as well) on the Day of Resurrection. Unquestionably, 'Aad denied their Lord; then away with 'Aad, the people of Hud.
