Sura 11 Hud, ayah 82

فَلَمَّا جَاءَ أَمْرُنَا جَعَلْنَا عَالِيَهَا سَافِلَهَا وَأَمْطَرْنَا عَلَيْهَا حِجَارَةً مِنْ سِجِّيلٍ مَنْضُودٍ
Translation by words
- فَلَمَّا
- So when
- جَآءَ
- came
- أَمْرُنَا
- Our Command,
- جَعَلْنَا
- We made
- عَٰلِيَهَا
- its upside,
- سَافِلَهَا
- its downside,
- وَأَمْطَرْنَا
- and We rained
- عَلَيْهَا
- upon them
- حِجَارَةً
- stones
- مِّن
- of
- سِجِّيلٍ
- baked clay
- مَّنضُودٍ
- (in) layers.
So when Our command came, We made the highest part (of the city) its lowest and rained upon them stones of layered hard clay, (which were)
