Sura 12 Yusuf (Joseph), ayah 20

1. وَشَرَوْهُ بِثَمَنٍ بَخْسٍ دَرَاهِمَ مَعْدُودَةٍ وَكَانُوا فِيهِ مِنَ الزَّاهِدِينَ

   Translation by words

   وَشَرَوْهُ

   And they sold him

   بِثَمَنٍۭ

   for a price

   بَخْسٍ

   very low,

   دَرَٰهِمَ

   dirhams

   مَعْدُودَةٍ

   few,

   وَكَانُوا۟

   and they were

   فِيهِ

   about him

   مِنَ

   of

   ٱلزَّٰهِدِينَ

   those keen to give up.

   And they sold him for a reduced price - a few dirhams - and they were, concerning him, of those content with little.
