Sura 13 Ar-Ra'd (The Thunder), ayah 36
-
وَالَّذِينَ آتَيْنَاهُمُ الْكِتَابَ يَفْرَحُونَ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ ۖ وَمِنَ الْأَحْزَابِ مَنْ يُنْكِرُ بَعْضَهُ ۚ قُلْ إِنَّمَا أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَعْبُدَ اللَّهَ وَلَا أُشْرِكَ بِهِ ۚ إِلَيْهِ أَدْعُو وَإِلَيْهِ مَآبِ
Translation by words
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those (to) whom
- ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمُ
- We have given them
- ٱلْكِتَٰبَ
- the Book,
- يَفْرَحُونَ
- rejoice
- بِمَآ
- at what
- أُنزِلَ
- has been revealed
- إِلَيْكَ
- to you,
- وَمِنَ
- but among
- ٱلْأَحْزَابِ
- the groups
- مَن
- (those) who
- يُنكِرُ
- deny
- بَعْضَهُۥ
- a part of it.
- قُلْ
- Say,
- إِنَّمَآ
- "Only
- أُمِرْتُ
- I have been commanded
- أَنْ
- that
- أَعْبُدَ
- I worship
- ٱللَّهَ
- Allah,
- وَلَآ
- and not
- أُشْرِكَ
- I associate partners
- بِهِۦٓ
- with Him.
- إِلَيْهِ
- To Him
- أَدْعُوا۟
- I call
- وَإِلَيْهِ
- and to Him
- مَـَٔابِ
- (is) my return."
And (the believers among) those to whom We have given the (previous) Scripture rejoice at what has been revealed to you, (O Muhammad), but among the (opposing) factions are those who deny part of it. Say, "I have only been commanded to worship Allah and not associate (anything) with Him. To Him I invite, and to Him is my return."
