Sura 16 Al-Nahl (The Bee), ayah 24

  1. وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ مَاذَا أَنْزَلَ رَبُّكُمْ ۙ قَالُوا أَسَاطِيرُ الْأَوَّلِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَإِذَا
    And when
    قِيلَ
    it is said
    لَهُم
    to them,
    مَّاذَآ
    "What
    أَنزَلَ
    has your Lord sent down?
    رَبُّكُمْ
    has your Lord sent down?
    قَالُوٓا۟
    They say,
    أَسَٰطِيرُ
    "Tales
    ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ
    (of) the ancient."

    And when it is said to them, "What has your Lord sent down?" They say, "Legends of the former peoples,"
