Sura 16 Al-Nahl (The Bee), ayah 34

فَأَصَابَهُمْ سَيِّئَاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا وَحَاقَ بِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا بِهِ يَسْتَهْزِئُونَ
Translation by words
- فَأَصَابَهُمْ
- Then struck them
- سَيِّـَٔاتُ
- (the) evil (results)
- مَا
- (of) what
- عَمِلُوا۟
- they did,
- وَحَاقَ
- and surrounded
- بِهِم
- them
- مَّا
- what
- كَانُوا۟
- they used (to)
- بِهِۦ
- [of it]
- يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
- mock.
So they were struck by the evil consequences of what they did and were enveloped by what they used to ridicule.
