Sura 16 Al-Nahl (The Bee), ayah 77

  1. وَلِلَّهِ غَيْبُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَا أَمْرُ السَّاعَةِ إِلَّا كَلَمْحِ الْبَصَرِ أَوْ هُوَ أَقْرَبُ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

    Translation by words

    وَلِلَّهِ
    And to Allah (belongs)
    غَيْبُ
    (the) unseen
    ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
    (of) the heavens
    وَٱلْأَرْضِ
    and the earth.
    وَمَآ
    And not
    أَمْرُ
    (is the) matter
    ٱلسَّاعَةِ
    (of) the Hour
    إِلَّا
    but
    كَلَمْحِ
    as a twinkling
    ٱلْبَصَرِ
    (of) the eye
    أَوْ
    or
    هُوَ
    it
    أَقْرَبُ
    (is) nearer.
    إِنَّ
    Indeed,
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    عَلَىٰ
    on
    كُلِّ
    every
    شَىْءٍ
    thing
    قَدِيرٌ
    (is) All-Powerful.

    And to Allah belongs the unseen (aspects) of the heavens and the earth. And the command for the Hour is not but as a glance of the eye or even nearer. Indeed, Allah is over all things competent.
