Sura 16 Al-Nahl (The Bee), ayah 78

  1. وَاللَّهُ أَخْرَجَكُمْ مِنْ بُطُونِ أُمَّهَاتِكُمْ لَا تَعْلَمُونَ شَيْئًا وَجَعَلَ لَكُمُ السَّمْعَ وَالْأَبْصَارَ وَالْأَفْئِدَةَ ۙ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَٱللَّهُ
    And Allah
    أَخْرَجَكُم
    brought you forth
    مِّنۢ
    from
    بُطُونِ
    the wombs
    أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ
    (of) your mothers,
    لَا
    not
    تَعْلَمُونَ
    knowing
    شَيْـًٔا
    anything,
    وَجَعَلَ
    and made
    لَكُمُ
    for you
    ٱلسَّمْعَ
    the hearing
    وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَ
    and the sight
    وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَ
    and the hearts
    لَعَلَّكُمْ
    so that you may
    تَشْكُرُونَ
    give thanks.

    And Allah has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing, and He made for you hearing and vision and intellect that perhaps you would be grateful.
