Sura 17 Al-Isra (The Night Journey), ayah 27

1. إِنَّ الْمُبَذِّرِينَ كَانُوا إِخْوَانَ الشَّيَاطِينِ ۖ وَكَانَ الشَّيْطَانُ لِرَبِّهِ كَفُورًا

   Translation by words

   إِنَّ

   Indeed,

   ٱلْمُبَذِّرِينَ

   the spendthrifts

   كَانُوٓا۟

   are

   إِخْوَٰنَ

   brothers

   ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ

   (of) the devils.

   وَكَانَ

   And is

   ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ

   the Shaitaan

   لِرَبِّهِۦ

   to his Lord

   كَفُورًا

   ungrateful.

   Indeed, the wasteful are brothers of the devils, and ever has Satan been to his Lord ungrateful.
