Sura 17 Al-Isra (The Night Journey), ayah 41

  1. وَلَقَدْ صَرَّفْنَا فِي هَٰذَا الْقُرْآنِ لِيَذَّكَّرُوا وَمَا يَزِيدُهُمْ إِلَّا نُفُورًا

    Translation by words

    وَلَقَدْ
    And verily,
    صَرَّفْنَا
    We have explained
    فِى
    in
    هَٰذَا
    this
    ٱلْقُرْءَانِ
    the Quran,
    لِيَذَّكَّرُوا۟
    that they may take heed,
    وَمَا
    but not
    يَزِيدُهُمْ
    it increases them
    إِلَّا
    except
    نُفُورًا
    (in) aversion.

    And We have certainly diversified (the contents) in this Qur'an that mankind may be reminded, but it does not increase the disbelievers except in aversion.
