Sura 17 Al-Isra (The Night Journey), ayah 94

وَمَا مَنَعَ النَّاسَ أَنْ يُؤْمِنُوا إِذْ جَاءَهُمُ الْهُدَىٰ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا أَبَعَثَ اللَّهُ بَشَرًا رَسُولًا
Translation by words
- وَمَا
- And what
- مَنَعَ
- prevented
- ٱلنَّاسَ
- the people
- أَن
- that
- يُؤْمِنُوٓا۟
- they believe
- إِذْ
- when
- جَآءَهُمُ
- came to them
- ٱلْهُدَىٰٓ
- the guidance
- إِلَّآ
- except
- أَن
- that
- قَالُوٓا۟
- they said,
- أَبَعَثَ
- "Has Allah sent
- ٱللَّهُ
- "Has Allah sent
- بَشَرًا
- a human
- رَّسُولًا
- Messenger?"
And what prevented the people from believing when guidance came to them except that they said, "Has Allah sent a human messenger?"
