Sura 18 Al-Kahf (The Cave), ayah 15

  1. هَٰؤُلَاءِ قَوْمُنَا اتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِهِ آلِهَةً ۖ لَوْلَا يَأْتُونَ عَلَيْهِمْ بِسُلْطَانٍ بَيِّنٍ ۖ فَمَنْ أَظْلَمُ مِمَّنِ افْتَرَىٰ عَلَى اللَّهِ كَذِبًا

    Translation by words

    هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ
    These,
    قَوْمُنَا
    our people,
    ٱتَّخَذُوا۟
    have taken
    مِن
    besides Him
    دُونِهِۦٓ
    besides Him
    ءَالِهَةً
    gods.
    لَّوْلَا
    Why not
    يَأْتُونَ
    they come
    عَلَيْهِم
    to them
    بِسُلْطَٰنٍۭ
    with an authority
    بَيِّنٍ
    clear?
    فَمَنْ
    And who
    أَظْلَمُ
    (is) more wrong
    مِمَّنِ
    than (one) who
    ٱفْتَرَىٰ
    invents
    عَلَى
    against
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah
    كَذِبًا
    a lie?

    These, our people, have taken besides Him deities. Why do they not bring for (worship of) them a clear authority? And who is more unjust than one who invents about Allah a lie?"
