Sura 18 Al-Kahf (The Cave), ayah 34
-
وَكَانَ لَهُ ثَمَرٌ فَقَالَ لِصَاحِبِهِ وَهُوَ يُحَاوِرُهُ أَنَا أَكْثَرُ مِنْكَ مَالًا وَأَعَزُّ نَفَرًا
Translation by words
- وَكَانَ
- And was
- لَهُۥ
- for him
- ثَمَرٌ
- fruit,
- فَقَالَ
- so he said
- لِصَٰحِبِهِۦ
- to his companion
- وَهُوَ
- while he
- يُحَاوِرُهُۥٓ
- (was) talking with him,
- أَنَا۠
- "I am
- أَكْثَرُ
- greater
- مِنكَ
- than you
- مَالًا
- (in) wealth
- وَأَعَزُّ
- and stronger
- نَفَرًا
- (in) men."
And he had fruit, so he said to his companion while he was conversing with him, "I am greater than you in wealth and mightier in (numbers of) men."

Translation: Saheeh International
