Sura 18 Al-Kahf (The Cave), ayah 43

  1. وَلَمْ تَكُنْ لَهُ فِئَةٌ يَنْصُرُونَهُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ وَمَا كَانَ مُنْتَصِرًا

    Translation by words

    وَلَمْ
    And not
    تَكُن

    لَّهُۥ
    for him
    فِئَةٌ
    a group
    يَنصُرُونَهُۥ
    (to) help him
    مِن
    other than
    دُونِ
    other than
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah,
    وَمَا
    and not
    كَانَ
    was
    مُنتَصِرًا
    (he) supported.

    And there was for him no company to aid him other than Allah, nor could he defend himself.
