Sura 19 Maryam, ayah 20

1. قَالَتْ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَامٌ وَلَمْ يَمْسَسْنِي بَشَرٌ وَلَمْ أَكُ بَغِيًّا

   Translation by words

   قَالَتْ

   She said,

   أَنَّىٰ

   "How

   يَكُونُ

   can be

   لِى

   for me

   غُلَٰمٌ

   a son,

   وَلَمْ

   when not

   يَمْسَسْنِى

   has touched me

   بَشَرٌ

   a man,

   وَلَمْ

   and not

   أَكُ

   I am

   بَغِيًّا

   unchaste?"

   She said, "How can I have a boy while no man has touched me and I have not been unchaste?"

   19:20
