Sura 19 Maryam, ayah 81

وَاتَّخَذُوا مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ آلِهَةً لِيَكُونُوا لَهُمْ عِزًّا
Translation by words
- وَٱتَّخَذُوا۟
- And they have taken
- مِن
- besides Allah,
- دُونِ
- besides Allah,
- ٱللَّهِ
- besides Allah,
- ءَالِهَةً
- gods,
- لِّيَكُونُوا۟
- that they may be
- لَهُمْ
- for them
- عِزًّا
- an honor.
And they have taken besides Allah (false) deities that they would be for them (a source of) honor.
19:81
