Sura 21 Al-Anbiya (The Prophets), ayah 109
-
فَإِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ آذَنْتُكُمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَاءٍ ۖ وَإِنْ أَدْرِي أَقَرِيبٌ أَمْ بَعِيدٌ مَا تُوعَدُونَ
Translation by words
- فَإِن
- But if
- تَوَلَّوْا۟
- they turn away
- فَقُلْ
- then say,
- ءَاذَنتُكُمْ
- "I (have) announced to you
- عَلَىٰ
- equally
- سَوَآءٍ
- equally
- وَإِنْ
- And not
- أَدْرِىٓ
- I know
- أَقَرِيبٌ
- whether is near
- أَم
- or
- بَعِيدٌ
- far
- مَّا
- what
- تُوعَدُونَ
- you are promised.
But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to (all of) you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised.
