Sura 21 Al-Anbiya (The Prophets), ayah 11

وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِنْ قَرْيَةٍ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةً وَأَنْشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْمًا آخَرِينَ
Translation by words
- وَكَمْ
- And how many
- قَصَمْنَا
- We (have) shattered
- مِن
- of
- قَرْيَةٍ
- a town
- كَانَتْ
- (that) was
- ظَالِمَةً
- unjust,
- وَأَنشَأْنَا
- and We produced
- بَعْدَهَا
- after them
- قَوْمًا
- another people.
- ءَاخَرِينَ
- another people.
And how many a city which was unjust have We shattered and produced after it another people.
