Sura 21 Al-Anbiya (The Prophets), ayah 54

1. قَالَ لَقَدْ كُنْتُمْ أَنْتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمْ فِي ضَلَالٍ مُبِينٍ

   Translation by words

   قَالَ

   He said,

   لَقَدْ

   "Verily,

   كُنتُمْ

   you are

   أَنتُمْ

   [you]

   وَءَابَآؤُكُمْ

   and your forefathers

   فِى

   (were) in

   ضَلَٰلٍ

   an error

   مُّبِينٍ

   manifest."

   He said, "You were certainly, you and your fathers, in manifest error."
