Sura 21 Al-Anbiya (The Prophets), ayah 80

  1. وَعَلَّمْنَاهُ صَنْعَةَ لَبُوسٍ لَكُمْ لِتُحْصِنَكُمْ مِنْ بَأْسِكُمْ ۖ فَهَلْ أَنْتُمْ شَاكِرُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَعَلَّمْنَٰهُ
    And We taught him
    صَنْعَةَ
    (the) making
    لَبُوسٍ
    (of) coats of armor
    لَّكُمْ
    for you
    لِتُحْصِنَكُم
    to protect you
    مِّنۢ
    from
    بَأْسِكُمْ
    your battle.
    فَهَلْ
    Then will
    أَنتُمْ
    you
    شَٰكِرُونَ
    (be) grateful?

    And We taught him the fashioning of coats of armor to protect you from your (enemy in) battle. So will you then be grateful?
