Sura 22 Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage), ayah 26

  1. وَإِذْ بَوَّأْنَا لِإِبْرَاهِيمَ مَكَانَ الْبَيْتِ أَنْ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِي شَيْئًا وَطَهِّرْ بَيْتِيَ لِلطَّائِفِينَ وَالْقَائِمِينَ وَالرُّكَّعِ السُّجُودِ

    Translation by words

    وَإِذْ
    And when
    بَوَّأْنَا
    We assigned
    لِإِبْرَٰهِيمَ
    to Ibrahim
    مَكَانَ
    (the) site
    ٱلْبَيْتِ
    (of) the House,
    أَن
    "That
    لَّا
    (do) not
    تُشْرِكْ
    associate
    بِى
    with Me
    شَيْـًٔا
    anything
    وَطَهِّرْ
    and purify
    بَيْتِىَ
    My House
    لِلطَّآئِفِينَ
    for those who circumambulate
    وَٱلْقَآئِمِينَ
    and those who stand
    وَٱلرُّكَّعِ
    and those who bow,
    ٱلسُّجُودِ
    (and) those who prostrate.

    And (mention, O Muhammad), when We designated for Abraham the site of the House, (saying), "Do not associate anything with Me and purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those who stand (in prayer) and those who bow and prostrate.
