Sura 22 Al-Hajj (The Pilgrimage), ayah 67
-
لِكُلِّ أُمَّةٍ جَعَلْنَا مَنْسَكًا هُمْ نَاسِكُوهُ ۖ فَلَا يُنَازِعُنَّكَ فِي الْأَمْرِ ۚ وَادْعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ۖ إِنَّكَ لَعَلَىٰ هُدًى مُسْتَقِيمٍ
Translation by words
- لِّكُلِّ
- For every
- أُمَّةٍ
- nation
- جَعَلْنَا
- We have made
- مَنسَكًا
- rite(s),
- هُمْ
- they
- نَاسِكُوهُ
- perform it.
- فَلَا
- So let them not dispute with you
- يُنَٰزِعُنَّكَ
- So let them not dispute with you
- فِى
- in
- ٱلْأَمْرِ
- the matter,
- وَٱدْعُ
- but invite (them)
- إِلَىٰ
- to
- رَبِّكَ
- your Lord.
- إِنَّكَ
- Indeed, you
- لَعَلَىٰ
- (are) surely on
- هُدًى
- guidance
- مُّسْتَقِيمٍ
- straight.
For every religion We have appointed rites which they perform. So, (O Muhammad), let the disbelievers not contend with you over the matter but invite them to your Lord. Indeed, you are upon straight guidance.
22:67
Translation: Saheeh International
