Sura 23 Al-Mu'minun (The Believers), ayah 43

1. مَا تَسْبِقُ مِنْ أُمَّةٍ أَجَلَهَا وَمَا يَسْتَأْخِرُونَ

   Translation by words

   مَا

   Not

   تَسْبِقُ

   can precede

   مِنْ

   any

   أُمَّةٍ

   nation

   أَجَلَهَا

   its term,

   وَمَا

   and not

   يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ

   they (can) delay (it).

   No nation will precede its time (of termination), nor will they remain (thereafter).
