Sura 24 An-Nur (The Light), ayah 17

1. يَعِظُكُمُ اللَّهُ أَنْ تَعُودُوا لِمِثْلِهِ أَبَدًا إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ

   Translation by words

   يَعِظُكُمُ

   Allah warns you

   ٱللَّهُ

   Allah warns you

   أَن

   that

   تَعُودُوا۟

   you return

   لِمِثْلِهِۦٓ

   (to the) like of it

   أَبَدًا

   ever,

   إِن

   if

   كُنتُم

   you are

   مُّؤْمِنِينَ

   believers.

   Allah warns you against returning to the likes of this (conduct), ever, if you should be believers.

   24:17
