Sura 24 An-Nur (The Light), ayah 20

  1. وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُ وَأَنَّ اللَّهَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ

    Translation by words

    وَلَوْلَا
    And if not
    فَضْلُ
    (for the) Grace of Allah
    ٱللَّهِ
    (for the) Grace of Allah
    عَلَيْكُمْ
    upon you
    وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ
    and His Mercy.
    وَأَنَّ
    And that
    ٱللَّهَ
    Allah
    رَءُوفٌ
    (is) Full of Kindness,
    رَّحِيمٌ
    Most Merciful.

    And if it had not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy... and because Allah is Kind and Merciful.
