Sura 24 An-Nur (The Light), ayah 23

1. إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَرْمُونَ الْمُحْصَنَاتِ الْغَافِلَاتِ الْمُؤْمِنَاتِ لُعِنُوا فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

   Translation by words

   إِنَّ

   Indeed,

   ٱلَّذِينَ

   those who

   يَرْمُونَ

   accuse

   ٱلْمُحْصَنَٰتِ

   the chaste women,

   ٱلْغَٰفِلَٰتِ

   the unaware women

   ٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ

   (and) the believing women,

   لُعِنُوا۟

   are cursed

   فِى

   in

   ٱلدُّنْيَا

   the world

   وَٱلْءَاخِرَةِ

   and the Hereafter.

   وَلَهُمْ

   And for them

   عَذَابٌ

   (is) a punishment

   عَظِيمٌ

   great.

   Indeed, those who (falsely) accuse chaste, unaware and believing women are cursed in this world and the Hereafter; and they will have a great punishment
