Sura 24 An-Nur (The Light), ayah 48

  1. وَإِذَا دُعُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَهُمْ إِذَا فَرِيقٌ مِنْهُمْ مُعْرِضُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَإِذَا
    And when
    دُعُوٓا۟
    they are called
    إِلَى
    to
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah
    وَرَسُولِهِۦ
    and His Messenger,
    لِيَحْكُمَ
    to judge
    بَيْنَهُمْ
    between them,
    إِذَا
    behold,
    فَرِيقٌ
    a party
    مِّنْهُم
    of them
    مُّعْرِضُونَ
    (is) averse.

    And when they are called to (the words of) Allah and His Messenger to judge between them, at once a party of them turns aside (in refusal).
