Sura 25 Al-Furqan (The Criterion), ayah 22

  1. يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا بُشْرَىٰ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِلْمُجْرِمِينَ وَيَقُولُونَ حِجْرًا مَحْجُورًا

    Translation by words

    يَوْمَ
    (The) Day
    يَرَوْنَ
    they see
    ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةَ
    the Angels,
    لَا
    no
    بُشْرَىٰ
    glad tidings
    يَوْمَئِذٍ
    (will be) that Day
    لِّلْمُجْرِمِينَ
    for the criminals,
    وَيَقُولُونَ
    and they will say,
    حِجْرًا
    "A partition
    مَّحْجُورًا
    forbidden."

    The day they see the angels - no good tidings will there be that day for the criminals, and (the angels) will say, "Prevented and inaccessible."
