Sura 25 Al-Furqan (The Criterion), ayah 28

1. يَا وَيْلَتَىٰ لَيْتَنِي لَمْ أَتَّخِذْ فُلَانًا خَلِيلًا

   Translation by words

   يَٰوَيْلَتَىٰ

   O woe to me!

   لَيْتَنِى

   I wish

   لَمْ

   not

   أَتَّخِذْ

   I had taken

   فُلَانًا

   that one

   خَلِيلًا

   (as) a friend.

   Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend.

   25:28
