Sura 25 Al-Furqan (The Criterion), ayah 43

  1. أَرَأَيْتَ مَنِ اتَّخَذَ إِلَٰهَهُ هَوَاهُ أَفَأَنْتَ تَكُونُ عَلَيْهِ وَكِيلًا

    Translation by words

    أَرَءَيْتَ
    Have you seen
    مَنِ
    (one) who
    ٱتَّخَذَ
    takes
    إِلَٰهَهُۥ
    (as) his god
    هَوَىٰهُ
    his own desire?
    أَفَأَنتَ
    Then would you
    تَكُونُ
    be
    عَلَيْهِ
    over him
    وَكِيلًا
    a guardian?

    Have you seen the one who takes as his god his own desire? Then would you be responsible for him?
