Sura 25 Al-Furqan (The Criterion), ayah 72
-
وَالَّذِينَ لَا يَشْهَدُونَ الزُّورَ وَإِذَا مَرُّوا بِاللَّغْوِ مَرُّوا كِرَامًا
Translation by words
- وَٱلَّذِينَ
- And those who
- لَا
- (do) not
- يَشْهَدُونَ
- bear witness
- ٱلزُّورَ
- (to) the falsehood,
- وَإِذَا
- and when
- مَرُّوا۟
- they pass
- بِٱللَّغْوِ
- by futility,
- مَرُّوا۟
- they pass
- كِرَامًا
- (as) dignified ones
And (they are) those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity.
25:72
