Sura 26 Ash-Shu'ara' (The Poets), ayah 5

  1. وَمَا يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْ ذِكْرٍ مِنَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ مُحْدَثٍ إِلَّا كَانُوا عَنْهُ مُعْرِضِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَمَا
    And (does) not
    يَأْتِيهِم
    come to them
    مِّن
    any
    ذِكْرٍ
    reminder
    مِّنَ
    from
    ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ
    the Most Gracious
    مُحْدَثٍ
    new,
    إِلَّا
    but
    كَانُوا۟
    they
    عَنْهُ
    from it
    مُعْرِضِينَ
    turn away.

    And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it.
