Sura 27 An-Naml (The Ant), ayah 16

  1. وَوَرِثَ سُلَيْمَانُ دَاوُودَ ۖ وَقَالَ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ عُلِّمْنَا مَنْطِقَ الطَّيْرِ وَأُوتِينَا مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَهُوَ الْفَضْلُ الْمُبِينُ

    Translation by words

    وَوَرِثَ
    And inherited
    سُلَيْمَٰنُ
    Sulaiman
    دَاوُۥدَ
    Dawood.
    وَقَالَ
    And he said,
    يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
    "O
    ٱلنَّاسُ
    people!
    عُلِّمْنَا
    We have been taught
    مَنطِقَ
    (the) language
    ٱلطَّيْرِ
    (of) the birds,
    وَأُوتِينَا
    and we have been given
    مِن
    from
    كُلِّ
    every
    شَىْءٍ
    thing.
    إِنَّ
    Indeed,
    هَٰذَا
    this
    لَهُوَ
    surely, it
    ٱلْفَضْلُ
    (is) the favor
    ٱلْمُبِينُ
    evident."

    And Solomon inherited David. He said, "O people, we have been taught the language of birds, and we have been given from all things. Indeed, this is evident bounty."
