Sura 27 An-Naml (The Ant), ayah 18

  1. حَتَّىٰ إِذَا أَتَوْا عَلَىٰ وَادِ النَّمْلِ قَالَتْ نَمْلَةٌ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّمْلُ ادْخُلُوا مَسَاكِنَكُمْ لَا يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ سُلَيْمَانُ وَجُنُودُهُ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ

    Translation by words

    حَتَّىٰٓ
    Until,
    إِذَآ
    when
    أَتَوْا۟
    they came
    عَلَىٰ
    to
    وَادِ
    (the) valley
    ٱلنَّمْلِ
    (of) the ants,
    قَالَتْ
    said
    نَمْلَةٌ
    an ant,
    يَٰٓأَيُّهَا
    "O
    ٱلنَّمْلُ
    ants!
    ٱدْخُلُوا۟
    Enter
    مَسَٰكِنَكُمْ
    your dwellings
    لَا
    lest not crush you
    يَحْطِمَنَّكُمْ
    lest not crush you
    سُلَيْمَٰنُ
    Sulaiman
    وَجُنُودُهُۥ
    and his hosts
    وَهُمْ
    while they
    لَا
    (do) not perceive."
    يَشْعُرُونَ
    (do) not perceive."

    Until, when they came upon the valley of the ants, an ant said, "O ants, enter your dwellings that you not be crushed by Solomon and his soldiers while they perceive not."
