Sura 27 An-Naml (The Ant), ayah 21

1. لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُ عَذَابًا شَدِيدًا أَوْ لَأَذْبَحَنَّهُ أَوْ لَيَأْتِيَنِّي بِسُلْطَانٍ مُبِينٍ

   Translation by words

   لَأُعَذِّبَنَّهُۥ

   I will surely punish him

   عَذَابًا

   (with) a punishment

   شَدِيدًا

   severe

   أَوْ

   or

   لَأَا۟ذْبَحَنَّهُۥٓ

   I will surely slaughter him

   أَوْ

   unless

   لَيَأْتِيَنِّى

   he brings me

   بِسُلْطَٰنٍ

   a reason

   مُّبِينٍ

   clear."

   I will surely punish him with a severe punishment or slaughter him unless he brings me clear authorization."

   27:21
