Sura 27 An-Naml (The Ant), ayah 43

  1. وَصَدَّهَا مَا كَانَتْ تَعْبُدُ مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهَا كَانَتْ مِنْ قَوْمٍ كَافِرِينَ

    Translation by words

    وَصَدَّهَا
    And has averted her
    مَا
    what
    كَانَت
    she used (to)
    تَّعْبُدُ
    worship
    مِن
    besides
    دُونِ
    besides
    ٱللَّهِ
    Allah.
    إِنَّهَا
    Indeed, she
    كَانَتْ
    was
    مِن
    from
    قَوْمٍ
    a people
    كَٰفِرِينَ
    who disbelieve.

    And that which she was worshipping other than Allah had averted her (from submission to Him). Indeed, she was from a disbelieving people."
