Sura 27 An-Naml (The Ant), ayah 42

  1. فَلَمَّا جَاءَتْ قِيلَ أَهَٰكَذَا عَرْشُكِ ۖ قَالَتْ كَأَنَّهُ هُوَ ۚ وَأُوتِينَا الْعِلْمَ مِنْ قَبْلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسْلِمِينَ

    Translation by words

    فَلَمَّا
    So when
    جَآءَتْ
    she came,
    قِيلَ
    it was said,
    أَهَٰكَذَا
    "Is like this
    عَرْشُكِ
    your throne?"
    قَالَتْ
    She said,
    كَأَنَّهُۥ
    "It is like
    هُوَ
    it."
    وَأُوتِينَا
    "And we were given
    ٱلْعِلْمَ
    the knowledge
    مِن
    before her
    قَبْلِهَا
    before her
    وَكُنَّا
    and we have been
    مُسْلِمِينَ
    Muslims."

    So when she arrived, it was said (to her), "Is your throne like this?" She said, "(It is) as though it was it." (Solomon said), "And we were given knowledge before her, and we have been Muslims (in submission to Allah).
