Sura 27 An-Naml (The Ant), ayah 56

  1. فَمَا كَانَ جَوَابَ قَوْمِهِ إِلَّا أَنْ قَالُوا أَخْرِجُوا آلَ لُوطٍ مِنْ قَرْيَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ أُنَاسٌ يَتَطَهَّرُونَ

    Translation by words

    فَمَا
    But not
    كَانَ
    was
    جَوَابَ
    (the) answer
    قَوْمِهِۦٓ
    (of) his people
    إِلَّآ
    except
    أَن
    that
    قَالُوٓا۟
    they said,
    أَخْرِجُوٓا۟
    "Drive out
    ءَالَ
    (the) family
    لُوطٍ
    (of) Lut
    مِّن
    from
    قَرْيَتِكُمْ
    your town.
    إِنَّهُمْ
    Indeed, they
    أُنَاسٌ
    (are) people
    يَتَطَهَّرُونَ
    who keep clean and pure."

    But the answer of his people was not except that they said, "Expel the family of Lot from your city. Indeed, they are people who keep themselves pure."
