Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 18
-
فَأَصْبَحَ فِي الْمَدِينَةِ خَائِفًا يَتَرَقَّبُ فَإِذَا الَّذِي اسْتَنْصَرَهُ بِالْأَمْسِ يَسْتَصْرِخُهُ ۚ قَالَ لَهُ مُوسَىٰ إِنَّكَ لَغَوِيٌّ مُبِينٌ
Translation by words
- فَأَصْبَحَ
- In the morning he was
- فِى
- in
- ٱلْمَدِينَةِ
- the city
- خَآئِفًا
- fearful
- يَتَرَقَّبُ
- (and) was vigilant,
- فَإِذَا
- when behold!
- ٱلَّذِى
- The one who
- ٱسْتَنصَرَهُۥ
- sought his help
- بِٱلْأَمْسِ
- the previous day
- يَسْتَصْرِخُهُۥ
- cried out to him for help.
- قَالَ
- Said
- لَهُۥ
- to him
- مُوسَىٰٓ
- Musa,
- إِنَّكَ
- "Indeed, you
- لَغَوِىٌّ
- (are) surely a deviator
- مُّبِينٌ
- clear."
And he became inside the city fearful and anticipating (exposure), when suddenly the one who sought his help the previous day cried out to him (once again). Moses said to him, "Indeed, you are an evident, (persistent) deviator."
