Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 24

  1. فَسَقَىٰ لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّىٰ إِلَى الظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي لِمَا أَنْزَلْتَ إِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ

    Translation by words

    فَسَقَىٰ
    So he watered
    لَهُمَا
    for them.
    ثُمَّ
    Then
    تَوَلَّىٰٓ
    he turned back
    إِلَى
    to
    ٱلظِّلِّ
    the shade
    فَقَالَ
    and said,
    رَبِّ
    "My Lord!
    إِنِّى
    Indeed, I am
    لِمَآ
    of whatever
    أَنزَلْتَ
    You send
    إِلَىَّ
    to me
    مِنْ
    of
    خَيْرٍ
    good
    فَقِيرٌ
    (in) need."

    So he watered (their flocks) for them; then he went back to the shade and said, "My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need."
