Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 28

  1. قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَكَ ۖ أَيَّمَا الْأَجَلَيْنِ قَضَيْتُ فَلَا عُدْوَانَ عَلَيَّ ۖ وَاللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٌ

    Translation by words

    قَالَ
    He said,
    ذَٰلِكَ
    "That
    بَيْنِى
    (is) between me
    وَبَيْنَكَ
    and between you.
    أَيَّمَا
    Whichever
    ٱلْأَجَلَيْنِ
    (of) the two terms
    قَضَيْتُ
    I complete
    فَلَا
    then no
    عُدْوَٰنَ
    injustice
    عَلَىَّ
    to me,
    وَٱللَّهُ
    and Allah,
    عَلَىٰ
    over
    مَا
    what
    نَقُولُ
    we say
    وَكِيلٌ
    (is) a Witness."

    (Moses) said, "That is (established) between me and you. Whichever of the two terms I complete - there is no injustice to me, and Allah, over what we say, is Witness."
