Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 34
-
وَأَخِي هَارُونُ هُوَ أَفْصَحُ مِنِّي لِسَانًا فَأَرْسِلْهُ مَعِيَ رِدْءًا يُصَدِّقُنِي ۖ إِنِّي أَخَافُ أَنْ يُكَذِّبُونِ
Translation by words
- وَأَخِى
- And my brother
- هَٰرُونُ
- Harun,
- هُوَ
- he
- أَفْصَحُ
- (is) more eloquent
- مِنِّى
- than me
- لِسَانًا
- (in) speech,
- فَأَرْسِلْهُ
- so send him
- مَعِىَ
- with me
- رِدْءًا
- (as) a helper,
- يُصَدِّقُنِىٓ
- who will confirm me.
- إِنِّىٓ
- Indeed,
- أَخَافُ
- I fear
- أَن
- that
- يُكَذِّبُونِ
- they will deny me."
And my brother Aaron is more fluent than me in tongue, so send him with me as support, verifying me. Indeed, I fear that they will deny me."
