Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 35
-
قَالَ سَنَشُدُّ عَضُدَكَ بِأَخِيكَ وَنَجْعَلُ لَكُمَا سُلْطَانًا فَلَا يَصِلُونَ إِلَيْكُمَا ۚ بِآيَاتِنَا أَنْتُمَا وَمَنِ اتَّبَعَكُمَا الْغَالِبُونَ
Translation by words
- قَالَ
- He said,
- سَنَشُدُّ
- "We will strengthen
- عَضُدَكَ
- your arm
- بِأَخِيكَ
- through your brother
- وَنَجْعَلُ
- and We will make
- لَكُمَا
- for both of you
- سُلْطَٰنًا
- an authority,
- فَلَا
- so not
- يَصِلُونَ
- they will reach
- إِلَيْكُمَا
- to both of you.
- بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ
- Through Our Signs
- أَنتُمَا
- you two
- وَمَنِ
- and (those) who
- ٱتَّبَعَكُمَا
- follow you,
- ٱلْغَٰلِبُونَ
- (will) be the dominant."
(Allah) said, "We will strengthen your arm through your brother and grant you both supremacy so they will not reach you. (It will be) through Our signs; you and those who follow you will be the predominant."
28:35
