Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 49

  1. قُلْ فَأْتُوا بِكِتَابٍ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللَّهِ هُوَ أَهْدَىٰ مِنْهُمَا أَتَّبِعْهُ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ صَادِقِينَ

    Translation by words

    قُلْ
    Say,
    فَأْتُوا۟
    "Then bring
    بِكِتَٰبٍ
    a Book
    مِّنْ
    from Allah,
    عِندِ
    from Allah,
    ٱللَّهِ
    from Allah,
    هُوَ
    which
    أَهْدَىٰ
    (is) a better guide
    مِنْهُمَآ
    than both of them
    أَتَّبِعْهُ
    that I may follow it,
    إِن
    if
    كُنتُمْ
    you are
    صَٰدِقِينَ
    truthful."

    Say, "Then bring a scripture from Allah which is more guiding than either of them that I may follow it, if you should be truthful."
