Sura 28 Al-Qasas (The Stories), ayah 64

  1. وَقِيلَ ادْعُوا شُرَكَاءَكُمْ فَدَعَوْهُمْ فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِيبُوا لَهُمْ وَرَأَوُا الْعَذَابَ ۚ لَوْ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يَهْتَدُونَ

    Translation by words

    وَقِيلَ
    And it will be said,
    ٱدْعُوا۟
    "Call
    شُرَكَآءَكُمْ
    your partners."
    فَدَعَوْهُمْ
    And they will call them,
    فَلَمْ
    but not
    يَسْتَجِيبُوا۟
    they will respond
    لَهُمْ
    to them
    وَرَأَوُا۟
    and they will see
    ٱلْعَذَابَ
    the punishment.
    لَوْ
    If only
    أَنَّهُمْ
    [that] they
    كَانُوا۟
    had been
    يَهْتَدُونَ
    guided!

    And it will be said, "Invoke your 'partners' " and they will invoke them; but they will not respond to them, and they will see the punishment. If only they had followed guidance!
